DIY Tool Crafting
DIY Wand
While this video is certainly good enough on it's own, if you want something a little more elaborate and hardy, follow these extra steps.

-
Leave the bark-skinned stick outside for about two weeks to dry (bring it inside if it is going to rain).
 -
Once dry, sand it with any sandpaper roughly around 100 grit (I used a palm sander to do this).
 -
Sand it again with any sandpaper above 300 grit (I did this by hand in under two minutes).
 -
If you want to carve or burn any symbols in the wood, do so now.
 -
Wipe it clean, and feel free to stain it if you like, although I find the natural colors better than a stain.
 -
Coat in 2 to 3 layers of shellac, leaving each coat to dry for 24 hours.
 -
Now you may add any stones with hot glue or wire if you feel so inclined. You have a lovely wand.

Note! You can do these same steps with a five or six foot tree or tree limb to make a staff!
DIY Decor
One of the most important parts of Wicca is the belief in it all. It can help to surround yourself with things that make you FEEL like a witch. This is a great tutorial if you need to be surrounded by that witchy atmosphere to really feel the magic.
One of the covens I have worked with have such a beautiful genuine set-up that you cannot walk inside without feeling at home in your witching element.

These are simple how-to's, most of them seeming to be under ten dollars. Have at it!
